Northstar New School offers placement to children who have been unable to succeed in mainstream school or other specialist school provision. Pupils will have have EHC Plans (formerly statements of special educational needs) or be under statutory assessment. Their needs arising primarily from behavioural difficulties as a result of social emotional issues and mental health needs as well as those on the autism spectrum.
